With so many activities for our residents to participate in, there is always something going on at Falcon House; from themed social events to residents' birthday parties, museum talks and targeted tasks; we offer a wide range of tailor made stimulating activities. Each event is at our residents' choice to attend. Our Activities Coordinator works closely with residents to suit their needs. Days Out
Falcon House also encourages social excursions from shopping trips to external fixtures of events with suggestions for new activities and places always welcomed and encouraged.
In-house Activities
Themed events are also organised for our residents’ entertainment. We have previously hosted a Spanish night with Spanish food, an Indian night which included dancers performing live. Birthday parties and other celebrations are also organised for individual residents, as well as parties for annual events and holidays, with food and activities themed around the occasion. Outside profesisonals and entertainers are also part of our regular schedule.
Gardening
Our residents enjoy spending time in our very large garden, planting their own flowers. With specially adapted flowerbeds, we are able to offer these outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. Care staff are on hand at all times to provide a helping hand and encourage any of our residents to go outside and either join in or get some fresh air or simply just to sit and enjoy the beautiful views.
